My husband’s dearest grandma, Martha, was diagnosed with breast cancer a number of years ago. Martha is a strong, beautiful, kind, and giving woman who is a breast cancer survivor. She is also one of the best wives, mothers, grandmothers, friends, and human beings I have ever come into contact with, and I greatly admire her and hold her dear to my heart.

Martha’s survival and strength inspired me to raise money and awareness so no one else has to endure what she has. In 2009, I participated in and walked in the 3-Day in honor of her and plan to tackle cancer FOR MARTHA. In my journey, I was so fortunate to become a member of the BOTM team. This group of advocates, survivors, and special individuals share the same strength, beauty, kindness, and generosity that Martha displays. I am thankful for all of the experiences and people I have met in working towards the same goal… We’re all here to make a difference.
