From Cancer to Crafty- An Artist Awakes

I’m so excited! And so happy you’re here checking out Boobs on the Move! A bit of background on me – I am mom to three cool girls (4,8 & 10), I live in sunny southern California (raised in Cardiff) and am married to the most supportive man you can imagine. Seriously – you don’t even want to know what he puts up with.

I’ve had some life changing events – Beginning with the loss of my amazing mom to cancer. Losing her was a life-altering event – we were exceptionally close. I am an only child and she was everything to me. My world and my rock. It was horrendous. I am part of the grief club now. You know what I’m talking about if you’re part of it too. Life is never the same.

One year later I faced my own personal cancer diagnosis. Both events made me stop in my tracks, evaluate my life and take a different path. I was an attorney – a creative person stuck in the life of a noncreative person.

Then I journeyed down the path of photography and partnered with Lisa Peirce to create Lisa & Zoe Photography.

I also started making charm bracelets for clients because I love, love, LOVE jewelry – jewelry is a true passion. I never felt I had an ounce of ability to make a go in the jewelry business and never intended for it to grow. But somehow it did and I am sure glad I tried. A little known fact about me is that I own every piece of jewelry I have every purchased – I have mounds of it.  Three Sisters Jewelry was born, taking on a life of it’s own. It’s named for my three girls and of course my mom, who was the oldest of three sisters.
