Get the Flock off my lawn!

Have you ever been driving down the street and seen a gaggle of pink yard flamingos perched in someone’s yard? I’m not talking a bird or two in a planter. I’m talking a dozen or more of the pink, flirty, trashy, party birds, causing a scene and making heads turn!

Neither have most people! That’s why this fancy feathered fundraising idea can get your team noticed and help you reach your funding goals!

Start with an unsuspecting neighbor or friend. Sneak out late night and litter their yard with flamingos. We suggest posting a yard sign too, so everyone driving by knows exactly who you are and what your raising money for! Leave a note and donation instructions. They get to choose the yard that the birds land in next!  The ladies fly from yard to yard and you get to collect donations- often from folks you’ve never even met before.

Flamingos can be purchased in bulk and if the expense is shared between team mates can be pretty minimal.  When you get tired of movin’ the ladies from yard to yard, pass it to the next team mate.  The kids will love helping with this one and the birds make great mascots for all your events as decorations too!
