WHAT IS ART STOMP
ART STOMP is a Boot Art auction to Stop breast cancer. More… With a little over a month to go, we still have room for additional contributions.
USE YOUR GIFT FOR GOOD!
If you are an artist interested in creating an original Boot-Inspired piece for our auction now’s the time to break out the paint, iron, plaster, hammers, chisels, nails, lenses, blowtorches, jack-hammer’s or whatever it is you use to create your brilliance. We take it all – we love creative thinkers – especially for a good cause.
BENEFITING
Proceeds from this event benefit The Virginia Ann Scheunemann Memorial Fund providing various mastectomy products, wigs and head covering to uninsured and low-income women. The VAS Memorial Fund was established by The Brighter Side; a Solana Beach based company helping women combat the challenging effects of cancer.
RAFFLE
In addition to creating an auction piece (or instead of if you don’t have the time) you can donate a piece of your work for our raffle.
WHY THE BOOT?
The cowboy boot has long been an inspiration and is symbolic of our grassroots, folksy feel. The boot also represents strength, hard work and progress in our mission to prevent breast cancer.
DEADLINE FOR ART:
Fri Oct 5, 2012 No exceptions!! (okay, twist our arm – anytime before the 11th, I mean 10th – oh, just don’t leave us hangin’.)
