Boob on the Move® connects creativity, community and cancer in a single event called Art Stomp – A Boot Art auction to Stop breast cancer.
Prepare to be inspired, pull up your bootstraps and get down to breast cancer prevention! Boot art created by highly talented local and regional artists come together by way of contributed original works incorporating and is inspired by the boot.
Why the boot? The cowboy boot has long been an inspiration and symbolic of Boobs on the Move’s grassroots, folksy feel. The boot also represents strength, hard work and progress in our mission to prevent breast cancer.
The stunning pieces will be auctioned Thursday, October 11th, 2012 for a charity fundraiser benefiting a non-profit equally sharing our passion for prevention. Open to evetyone;
Art Stomp 2012
This year, Boobs on the Move® chose a local charity; The Virginia Ann Scheunemann Memorial Fund ran by The Brighter Side, located in the Cedros Design District, Solana Beach, California.
The Brighter Side has been supporting women facing the combative effects of cancer and chemotherapy with proper wig, bra and prosthesis fittings, providing premium quality skincare products and other accessories like hats and scarves.
The VAS Memorial Fund was established by The Brighter Side to assist uninsured and low-income women in desperate need of various mastectomy products, wigs and head coverings.
We are honored to support their organization in 2012.
The venue host is Cedros Soles; an artistic experience beyond shoes and located in the Cedros Design District. Cedros Soles presents a progressive collection of designer footwear, denim, clothing and hand-crafted, artisan jewelry. To the beach, off to the track and on to the rodeo…we can’t think of a more perfect venue for a boot inspired art auction!
