Our Mission
To empower people to stop breast cancer through active prevention™ and generosity. {And have a little fun while we’re at it.}

We are a new kind of company
We are not a non-profit. Why? We just couldn’t visualize another non-profit competing for your hard earned dollar. We also couldn’t stand to see our inventive ideas go to waste or exploited. So, we merged the two ideas and created our bootstrapped organization (a real company) founded on doing good.

How? We empower people. We share our interest in active prevention™ through featured content, carefully crafted and selected to make you think (about doing something different) AND by encouraging folks to take risks and raise honest money using our swanky yet practical toolkit. We sell stuff too – check out our schwag – but also through licenses, (fancy word for rent) we offer our creative ideas to other impactful organizations. And the best part, we give 25% of our profits (the money left over after we cover our responsibilities) to breast cancer non-profits sharing a similar mission.

Our Short Story
Boobs on the Move® began in 2004 as a team of five seemingly heroic women walking 60 miles. We were high on hope, and committed to make a difference – but the true effect of that experience made us different!

Our grassroots team rapidly grew into several teams with Man Boobs too. Five years later we earned a well-established reputation and charisma for hosting great community events. And to our humble surprise, Boobs on the Move® had collectively raised nearly a half million dollars for Susan G Komen.

Momentum roared into 2010 and we pledged to share our mission of active prevention™ and inspire others, just like us, to Be Boobs too. Learn more about our fundraising toolkit built from years of practice and start your own BOTM team.
